Singer, songwriter, guitarist Ed Bertoli has lived in the Niagara area for the past decade.  He performs both as a solo artist, and as part of various musical collaborations with local musicians.  Ed's major influences are derived from the many classic rock styles of the 60s and 70s, but always with a melodic, acoustic sensibility.  His CD of original material "Icarus has Fallen"  showcased his more hard-edged songwriting skills, while his current original material shows a mellower and more personal.writing style.

Wayne Hosick is a Niagara area guitarist, mandolin player, and singer who can occasionally be found whomping the bodrhan at Nietzche's pub in Buffalo in time with a  gaggle of Celtic musicians. His influences are quite myriad and eclectic:  folk,  classic rock, blues, roots - as well as obscure, odd, and humorous tunes.

Wayne and Ed have also been embarking on a musical journey as guitarists and vocalists with local contemporary and classic rock band This Time Around.

As a musical duo, one would expect that such a variance in musical styles could be detrimental - but one would be much mistaken.  There issynergy in the music - tight harmonies, jangly rhythms, melodic soloing, dynamics, and a nice variety of instrumentation.  Whether covering Dylan, Jethro Tull, Blue Rodeo, or The Byrds - or playing one of Ed's originals - the sound is unique and ear-friendly.
